L4_RISE: NDIS Frontline Leadership Training → L4_Rise_Implementing Practice Standards

Preparing for an NDIS audit. (MLM_Audit1_L4)

Description

Welcome to preparing for NDIS audits as a frontline leader

As a frontline leader, you are the bridge between organisational policy and the real-world experience of participants.

We know your role isn't to be a compliance Officer, this course is designed to shift your perspective from simply "knowing the standards and showing the paperwork" to "proving the practice".

The NDIS Commission and auditors are no longer just looking for a signed policy; they are looking for evidence of safe, high-quality support in action.

This course provides you with the practical tools and the internal auditor mindset needed to ensure your team is always audit-ready.

What you will learn

This training is structured as a progression, allowing you to pick up the specific knowledge you need for your leadership level.

  • The internal auditor mindset: Learn how to review your own files, systems and team practices to identify gaps before an external auditor does.

  • From theory to evidence: Move beyond compliance documents. We focus on what "good" practice actually looks like and the specific evidence sources, such as meeting minutes, incident reports and participant feedback, that prove you are meeting the standards.

  • Reality check scenarios: Test your critical thinking with real-world situations. We don't just ask if you have a policy; we ask how that policy lives in your daily operations (e.g. how your team actually responds to a medication error in real-time).

  • Defensible documentation: Master the art of clinical, objective reporting. Learn how to ensure your team's documentation is legally and regulatorily defensible by removing subjective language.
