Description

This course provides an overview of preventing and responding to violence against NDIS workers. It highlights the importance of worker safety and wellbeing as a foundation for delivering high-quality and safe supports to NDIS participants. It also explores how providers and workers can create positive workplace cultures, assess and manage safety risks, and meet their obligations under NDIS regulatory frameworks when delivering supports in participants’ homes and communities.


Course purpose
The purpose of this course is to support NDIS providers and workers to understand their rights and responsibilities in preventing, identifying, and responding to worker-related violence. It aims to build awareness of practical strategies and systems that promote safe, respectful, and supportive work environments where both workers and participants can thrive.
