Every person is unique. The services provided should focus on the person and what they can do, not their disability.
To deliver person centered support there must be:
- Respect for the individual
- Treating people with dignity
- Understanding person experiences and goals
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Communicate in a way that is easily understood
- Treat everyone as an individual
