This level 1 module focuses on understanding the requirements of the specific Practice Outcomes set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
It should take you 10 - 15 minutes to complete.

This module should be unnecessary, but sadly people with disability still experience violence, abuse, neglect, exploitation and discriminations at excessive levels when compared to their peers. This module covers essential information from the perspective of the NDIS Practice Standards for the prevention of violence, abuse, neglect, exploitation and discrimination and how to appropriately respond including:

~ Types of violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation
~ Indicators of violence abuse, neglect and exploitation
~ Reporting requirements
~ Supporting participants through the process of an allegation or incident involving violence, abuse, neglect, exploitation or discrimination.
